Merino - Micron 19-23, Staple length approx. 7.5cm (3ins). Very fine wool for super fine knitting, crochet and lace work.
Corriedale - Micron 27-30, Staple length approx. 11cm (4.5ins). Soft wool for fine-medium spinning. Ideal for baby wear, woven, knitted and crocheted garments.
Perendale - Micron 28-35, Staple length approx. 12.5cm (5ins). A good all purpose wool, strong but light in weight for knitting and weaving.
Romney - Micron 31-38, Staple length approx. 14.5cm (6ins). The most versatile fleece with even crimp and noticeable lustre for all purposes.
Leicester - Micron 38-40, Staple length approx. 17.5cm (7ins). Coarse wool producing medium-thick yarn for outdoor garments, wall hangings, furnishing fabrics and rugs.
Lincoln - Micron 38-42, Staple length approx. 17-20cm (7-8ins). for products requiring high tensile strength, good lustre, and a soft handle.
Drysdale - Micron 38-41, Staple length approx. 31cm (12ins). Hairy wool producing coarse thick yarn for floor rugs and upholstery.
Greasy Fleece Naturals - Romney and Corriedale naturally-coloured fleece in a variety of grey, brown and black colours. Available scoured.
Greasy Carded - Romney fleece professionally carded for low wastage while retaining the natural lanoline grease. Available in white, light, medium and dark grey.
