We are thrilled that Nicola and her husband have taken over the Ashford Craft Shop business. After more than 16 years with us, demonstrating and teaching throughout Australasia and in the USA and India, Nicola has tremendous knowledge and passion for the textile crafts. She and her team will continue and grow the Craft Shop as the world showroom for Ashford Handicrafts. After extensive alterations and refurbishment the almost century-old building is brimming with beautiful displays of the wheels, looms, yarns, fibres, dyes and books and an extensive range of designer handmade garments.
Nicola is offering a wide range of classes and workshops and will be hosting the popular Ashford Retreats.

 Richard and Elizabeth, together with our UK distributor David Herring exhibited at this large annual, national show. Alongside ten of our UK dealers we enjoyed meeting many of the over 5000 enthusiastic visitors. As well as the vendors there were lectures, workshops and a sheep auction.

75th Jubilee Celebration
On Wednesday 11th of November Richard and Elizabeth together with all the Ashford staff and their partners, advisors, suppliers, authors, four New Zealand dealers and our distributor from the Czech Republic, Daniela Linhartova and her husband Paul celebrated the 75th birthday of the company with a Dinner for 143 people. It was a wonderful opportunity, in the presence of the Mayor of Ashburton and Member of Parliament for our Mid Canterbury, to thank all who have helped us reach this milestone.
