Portable multishaft weaving
- 3 widths
- overhead beater for best weaving shed
- castle folds flat for easy transport
Popular because they are portable, easy to use and so versatile, the Ashford table looms are in demand with both beginner and experienced weavers.
Choose from 3 weaving widths. The eight shaft looms fold flat, even with your weaving in place, making them ideal for taking to workshops or guild meetings. The overhead beater, with automatic bounce back, gives a wonderful shed and even beating. Levers are within easy reach for comfortable weaving. Each shaft can be lifted simply and quickly and is independent enabling a wide variety of patterns to be woven. The solid Silver Beech hard wood is lacquered for long-lasting good looks. Non-slip rubber feet give extra stability. Swedish stainless steel reed and lightweight Texsolv heddles are included. Plus there are a wide range of options and accessories available.

"The 8 shaft Ashford with overhead beater was voted far and away the best for ease of warping and general operation at Karen's workshop. The factors that most appealed to the course participants were the distances between the castle and the back beam and front beam, allowing ease of movement for threading as well as efficient weaving".

"I have just finished 2 projects on the Knitter's loom, so this is my first multi-shaft loom. Both looms are made by Ashford, I couldn't be happier. The looms work beautifully, are a pleasure to use and the shed on the multi-shaft is more than adequate making it a pleasure to use. The mechanics of the looms work efficiently and smoothly, I am very happy with both products as they are so well-designed."
