You will need:
Yarn: Ashford Merino DK 7 balls of STEEL GREY. 2 balls each MID BLUE and NAVY
Needles and other: 4mm (US 6) 60cm (32”) and 40cm (16”) circulars or set of long double pointed needles or size to obtain gauge, Stitch markers, Tapestry needle
Gauge: In stocking stitch, 22sts and 30 rnds = 4”/10cm washed and blocked.

Pattern:
NECK
With shorter circular needle and STEEL GREY, CO 104 sts. Pm, join in the rnd being careful not to twist sts. Pm after st 52 Work 6 rnds 1×1 rib.
Back neck shaping
Work to first marker, wrap and turn.
Work to 6 sts before beg marker, wrap and turn. Work to 12 sts before marker, wrap and turn.
Work to 12 sts before beg marker, wrap and turn.
Work to end of rnd, picking up wraps as you go. (work other wraps at beginning of colourwork rnd)
Knit 2 rounds
YOKE
Change to longer needle, join MID BLUE and NAVY
INC RND: Using only MID BLUE *K2,M1; rep from *. (156 sts) Work 11 rnds chart A, repeating 13 times around.
INC RND ROW: Using only NAVY*K3,M1; rep from *. (208 sts) Work 11 rnds chart B repeating 26 times around.
INC RND ROW: Using only NAVY*K4,M1; rep from *. (260 sts) Work 8 rnds chart C repeating 65 times around
Break contrast yarns leaving 20cm tails to weave in. Continue knitting 6 rnds STEEL GREY.
Lower Yoke shaping
Knit to first marker, wrap and turn.
Purl to 6 sts before beg marker, wrap and turn. Knit to 12 sts before marker, wrap and turn.
Purl to 12 sts before beg marker, wrap and turn.
Knit to end of rnd, picking up wraps as you go. (work other wraps at beginning of sleeve rnd)
Divide for sleeves and body
Slip stitches around yoke and work sleeves using smaller circular or double pointed needles.
Knit across 54 sts, 27 sts either side of beg marker, remove marker. Cast on 8 sts for underarm pm in centre of these sts. – 62 sts.
Work 7 rnds.
Dec Rnd: K1, ssk, knit to 3 sts before marker, k2tog, k1. Rep Dec Rnd every 6th rnd 10 more times. 40 sts rem Cont until sleeve measures 30cm *adjust length here.
Change to smaller needle if desired and 1x1rib for 11 rnds BO using a stretchy BO.
Repeat for second sleeve on opposite side of yoke.
BODY
Pick up 8 sts at underarm. Cont knitting 76sts of front, pick up 8 sts at opposite underarm, cont knitting 76 sts of back. PM at centre of 8 picked up sts for beg of rnd. – 168 sts
Knit around until work measures 30cm from underarm *adjust length here. Change to smaller needle if desired and 1x1rib for 11 rnds.
BO using a stretchy BO.
Finishing
Using tapestry needle, darn in all loose ends. Wash and block.
