Hearts, leaves and more – on an Eight Shaft

I’m constantly amazed by the endless possibilities you can create from a single threading on a table loom. What I love most is the freedom it offers—you’re not locked into using the same pattern for an entire warp. If you’re not feeling it, simply switch it up!

Since we recently upgraded all our folding table looms to include the shuttle race, we needed to update our photos for the website and brochures. It’s always exciting to explore new patterns, and I especially enjoy experimenting with different liftings on the same threading. Not only does this showcase the variety of options available, but it also gives us the chance to capture some fresh and varied photos!

Here are the drafts we recently wove on our eight-shaft table loom, pictured below. For the warp, we used our 4-ply, 100% wool yarn, and the weft is the same yarn, hand-dyed for an extra touch of uniqueness. I hope you enjoy exploring these drafts as much as we enjoyed weaving them.

Happy weaving,

The new shuttle race eliminates shuttle diving! Included with all new looms and available as a retro-fit kit for all older looms (must have the curved arms).
