The Lattice scarf kit is available from your local Ashford dealer which you can locate HERE. The video below is used in conjunction with the instructions in the kit.

Carrying the thick weft yarn along the edge of the warp.

Place the shuttle with the thick yarn on the table to the right of the loom, ensuring the yarn is not hanging too loose, then take your other shuttle underneath each time. This technique “carries” the thick yarn up the side of the weaving, creating a consistent neat, tidy edge for the scarf.

Both yarns in the Lattice Scarf kit can be dyed with Ashford Protein Dyes, allowing you to create your own stunning, unique colorways.

Wear it your way! A Mobius wrap for any occasion.
A slightly shorter version of the Lattice scarf was used to create a beautiful mobius wrap that can be styled in various ways.

Warp length: 1.8m (71″)

Weave according to the Lattice Scarf pattern, using the full length of the warp.

To finish, once removed from the loom, lay the scarf flat and fold the ends inward to bring them together. Flip one end over to create a twist, then join by tying the warp threads with a secure weaver’s knot (square knot). Trim any excess ends as desired.
