Ken Meehan – 45th Anniversary
We are celebrating a very special occasion – Ken Meehan, our Production and Factory Manager, started with the company as an “after-school boy” on 25th August 1980, 45 years ago.
Showing early talent and enthusiasm, we offered him an apprenticeship, which he completed with the highest grades nationally.
Skilled in all areas of production, purchasing and supply, and HR, Ken has been our Production and Factory Manager for over 25 years.
Realising the potential of new computerised machinery, not only for production but also for operator safety, Ken has been responsible for installing, programming and operating more than 12 new CNC routers in our plant.
Ken, having worked alongside Walter, Elizabeth and Richard, and now James and David, is a very special part of the Ashford family.
