Visit to Spinnvilt

Richard and Elizabeth were thrilled to visit Spinnvilt in Oslo Norway on their way to VAV. They were very happy to meet their old friends Eirik Bruvik and Tove Skolseg and their son Ola who is now running Spinnvilt. Spinnvilt have been selling Ashford equipment since 2010 and are the leading textile handcraft store in Norway. They have a beautiful store full of Ashford wheels, looms, carders, fibres, and yarns. Ola has created a warm welcoming environment for their customers. Tove is known throughout Norway as the leading spinning teacher and is about to publish a new book “From Fleece to Yarn”. Eirik is a professional weaver, and his work is exhibited throughout Norway.

Richard and Elizabeth were thrilled when Marianne popped in to buy a Joy spinning wheel which she insisted Richard sign.
