Richard Investiture
Richard, on September 17th, was presented with his Officer of the Order of Merit insignia by the Governor-general Dame Cindy Kiro.
Named in the King’s Birthday Honours List in June the investiture at Government House, Wellington, NZ, was a very special occasion for Richard and the family.
Awarded for his services to business, and particularly the textile craft industry, Richard was proud to accept the award on behalf of his wife Elizabeth, as well as his family, especially James and David, who now lead the business, the skilled Ashford team, distributors and customers around the world who use Ashford wheels and looms.
